Concentrated carrots in a dehydrated form Olewo Carrots are a 100% natural product made from fresh specially grown carrots rich in carotene. 100 grams (3.5 oz.) of Olewo contain 50 mg. of carotene. One kg. (2.2 lbs.) of Olewo carrots in pellet form is equivalent to approximately 10 kg. (22 lbs.) of fresh carrots, a ten to one ratio. Olewo is converted to a soft consistency by soaking for 10 minutes in warm water. This will mix very easily with your dog’s regular ration. It is recommend to mix a teaspoon of wheat germ / sunflower oil in with each tablespoon of Olewo. This is to aid in the formation of vitamin A by combining Carotene with oil / fat. If your dog is on a fairly high fat diet it is not always necessary to add the oil. For convenience, put the Olewo (and oil if needed) in your dogs food and then add water to soak both food and Olewo at the same time.
